Every time I try and join a friends world my game sits and loads saying "reseting game objects". I have reseted my internet and everything and nothing seems to help. Any feed back is much appreciated.

25 minutes.
Have you tried deleting and reinstalling terraria. You should be able to do this without deleting your saves.

How could I do that and keep my saves?
You're saves are stored copied to the cloud whenever you connect to Live. Simply delete the game files.
