I’ve been trying to play, but it will constantly freeze and then crash, im on the latest IOS update on an iphone 7 has anyone else had this problem, and is there a solution?

my terraria has been freezing then crashing constantly, it happens on any character and world i try using, when i reopen the game it always says i have 10 minutes on my character. im on the latest IOS update on an iphone 7, has anyone else had this problem?
