PC Game crashing after 1.4.1.2 update - takes any where from 5-30 mins

It doesn't seem to matter what I am doing in game, it will seem to randomly crash, so unfortunately there are no reproduction steps that I can give. I am not getting any error messages either.

I will also add that sometimes game will crash on launch, or when it has launched and is displaying the main menu.

Things that I have tried to resolve this issue:

1. Run Steam as Admin
2. Run Terraria as Admin
3. Deleted the config file
4. Made new folder for saves (actually I renamed the current one and made the game re-create the folders)
5. Using Steam, I ran the "verify integrity of game files", this seemed to have found one file that needed to be reacquired, but I am not sure if this actually did anything
6. Restarted my computer
7. Reinstalled Terraria - twice actually

If anyone has any suggestions on what can be done to fix this, that'd be great. If there is a way to generate some logs, so I can provide something useful, that would also be nice.
