PC Had a power surge now world's corrupt

I was playing and my power flickered and my monitor went off but not my pc, then when the monitor came back on, I quickly saved and exited the game, then while i was on the main menu my power went out completely. So when i tried to login and play again my character was fine but when i tried to load into my world it said failed, would you like to load a backup, i clicked yes, and my game crashed. is there any way to get my world back?
 
You could try manually restoring the Terraria backup:
  1. (Assuming Windows) Go to C:\Users\user_name\Documents\My Games\Terraria\Worlds
  2. Find the file "world.wld", where "world" is the name of the world with problems
  3. Rename "world.wld" to "world.old"
  4. Rename "world.wld.bak" to "world.wld"
  5. Start Terraria and see if the world loads
If that doesn't work and you're on Windows Vista/7: You might be able to use Previous Versions to restore the world instead.
  1. Right-click the Worlds folder > Properties.
  2. Go to the Previous Versions tab
  3. If anything is listed, open the most recent folder
  4. In the original Worlds folder, rename "world.wld" to "world.old" following steps 2-3 in the first list
  5. In the previous versions folder, copy "world.wld" to the original folder
  6. Start Terraria and see if the world loads

If it's still not working, try another backup/copy. If you don't have a backup, you may be out of luck, sorry. :(
