PS4 Having the same network error as everyone here. Told my friend to buy it without knowing these issues.

My friend has been literally scammed. He bought this game with the expectation that we could play together but we can’t. Is there a solution or not. He should be getting a refund. I’ve bought this game in 2015 so I got my money’s worth. Sad to see such a game breaking bug presentl with no solution. PS4 btw
 
when we try to join each other it just says requesting world information, then after a while I get kicked and it says “a network error has occured”
