Built a house with a 1/4-second timer in the upper left corner and even though the house is empty I cannot move a pet into the house. I can move a normal NPC in just fine, but the pets can't.
The house in question is attached.

timer are not a valid house border.
This room is connected with the room on top and the room left of it. They count as a single house all together.
The left room probably already has a pet as inhabitant.
