How to change vanilla items?

Hi! I wanted to know how to rebalance vanilla Items in tmodloader. I can do new content, but just don't understand how to change vanilla. If you have an answer for this, I'll be glad to hear it.

For most ModX classes there exists a GlobalX class, for example GlobalItem, used here:
