Mobile Minishark disapeared

I logged of terraria for a little bit, and when i got on my Demonic Minishark disappeared. I looked in every chest i have, and I didn't drop it anywhere. I don't have the 35 gold coins to buy another minishark, and even if i did it would take a lot of gold coins to get the demonic modifier.

The minishark was in my inventory, and i had it for a few real weeks.
