Need help with a tmodloader server setup.

I've recently setup a server for me and a friend to play portforwarded ect but the problem is the lag, mobs do not lag but players teleport everywhere for example when using wings you fly up the other person will see you lag up in steps.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
