Mobile Solution to "undecoratable" Xmas trees from Santa NPC (possibly)

I'm sure other people have found this out already, but anyway, I've noticed people have reported about this issue, and I've found that if you stand in front of the Xmas tree block, select the decoration, whether it's lights or stars, then slide the autoaim joystick any direction. It worked for me I've noticed. I'm on an iPad 4 iOS 9.3.2, so I'm not really sure if it works on other platforms and can't really test it either since I only have my own iPad. Anyway, try it out, and if it works, congrats! If it doesn't, notify me or the devs, but I'll see if I can do anything to test it further.

hey bud. i believe xmas trees are working correctly. i could always decorate mine with no problems.
 
put the decorations in my hotbar and place them like blocks. clicked and held where the decorations should go. bulb types can go anywhere. i think its wreaths? go anywhere. and the star goes on top. as long as you buy an actual christmas tree (and not use the christmas tree blocks it should be fine) your way does also work too.
 
Oh. When i tried it on mine when i first had christmas and santa, the hotbar and hold thing didnt work. Most likely devs already fixed it though.:happy:
