Tap Shoes are novelty items that can be sold by the Clothier at any time. They only cost 20 silver. They resemble simple black shoes with wooden bottoms.
When put in a functional accessory slot, the Tap Shoes allow you to tap dance by jumping. You do an animation where you close your eyes and start clicking your feet cutely, like tap dancing. This makes clicking noises.
Tap Shoes just exist for novelty. NPCs do take notice if you do tap dancing near them, and doing so for a while makes them give applause by clapping.

Having jump boosters in the accessory slots might interfere with the animation, but it is still possible.
