Biomes & Nature The living sea (new underground biome)

I recently had an idea for a new post-hardmode biome, so after you defeat the wall of flesh, the future core of the living sea (a cracked glowing slime) spawns near the center of the world underground in a body of water where it begins transforming the water into liquid slime, a new clouded liquid.
Liquid slime has the consistency of honey, when the player swims inside of it without strong enough armor it will continually hurt the plate like poison, it can only move through 3-4 block wide tunnels, it only spreads when the core is inside of it by turning the surrounding stone, dirt or sand into slime based variants before turning those into more liquid slime, if a pool of it doesn’t contain the core it will flow towards it so if it’s underneath the core it will try to flow upwards.
The enemies are based on various microbes, there are phases that act like homing missiles, bacteria like slime that move by using hooks and shooting them at the player, giant slow tardigrades, etc
If the player wants to stop the spread they have to fight the core in a boss fight where the core solidifies the slime into blocks to trap the player and into piercing ammunition, the boss drops the gooey ingot an accessory that makes the liquid slime flow towards the player without hurting them and makes any slime that spawns attack enemies that the player hits for about five minutes, it can be combined with the royal gel to make the slime crown, it also drops the slime cannon a mana consuming weapon that shoots slime that slows down enemies and causes continuous damage.
If the living sea reaches an ocean it will transform it entirely and small houses with chests made of slime blocks will begin growing at the sea floor.

After WoF? Players have enough trouble at that stage with the Hallow and Crimson/corruption. Maybe a better place would be after the mechs.

it is possible though. an example would be the astral altar in calamity rust and dust

it should be in the page for astral. im not sure, maybe the gamepedia isn't up to date.
