Resolved Truffle house

Hi there!
I am trying to make a truffle house in my world, it started growing however it is growing very slowly. I have defeated 2/3 mechanical bosses (Twins & skeleton P) so that's that. Is there anything I need to do?

Well, you need way more mud for it to count as a mushroom biome

Make it the size of one you find underground

Surely it doesn't need to be as big as the underground one. I have increased it by a bit but the first mushroom tree thing did grow.

Yeah, but it’s just a safe size to go for.

I think, it has to be 50+ blocks with mushroom grass. but the mushrooms that grow on it also count. I think I read that. so, theoretically, less than 50 could work, let's say, 40, and the mushrooms and mushroom trees that grow on it should make it count as valid, I think. But 50 should work anyway.
No need to make it as big as the 1.4 underground ones - but it can has its own benefits to make it larger, since then some unique monsters that spawn only on surface mushroom biomes might spawn more likely. (spore zombies)
