**REPORTED** [Xbox Series S/X] Wont let me invite anyone to any world.

So I was getting on after the update that just came out and I was gonna play some master mode with my friend but when I try to invite it just won't let me invite to game. I tried Uninstalling, restarting I tried different worlds and nothing worked. I have good internet connection. Not even the in-game invite button works. if you need to know anything else please ask.
 
I am currently having this issue though it was my internet but have tried everything. I have no problems playing a different multi-player game so I'm lost.

If I click on invite button in the player tab in multi-player in says "something went wrong" and if I try to invite through xbox it just doesn't let me click the invite button. I checked, it's not my internet I was able to invite and join players in other games but terraria just won't let invite anyone. Please tell if I missed any info.
 
I am having the same issue on Xbox One, I have tried restarting my console, reinstalling the game, and have no issues my my internet connection however I'm not able send invites to anyone for terraria and when I receive an invite it allows me to pick a character then says connecting to game and then failed to join session.

Yep exactly this.
 
I’m having the same issue with Xbox version also. After I installed the update it just broke the game and caused issues with inviting and joining multiplayer hosted games. Also it’s causing keyboards to disconnect when connected via usb, and so you have to unplug it and replug it in.
 
I've checked the version in the game management, it's supposed to be 4.4.11.1026 but when i launch my game this version appears : 4.4.9.2.1026.
I don't know what brings the update but briefly yesterday after downloading it, my game image (sorry don't know the good name for it) was a tree. It's now back to the old one with the hero on armor, a pick in his hand. Since then i tried uninstalling reinstalling, uninstalling playing with the cloud... Still the issue.
 
Hey all, the update for Xbox multiplayer was a big rebuild of the way multiplayer works, there might be some cases that slipped through.
Can everyone confirm the game versions that you and your friends are playing on, so that we can rule that out as an issue? All players should be on the latest version for the multiplayer to work correctly.

The keyboard issue we are also looking at.

Me and my friend were both on 1.4.4.9.2 build 1026

We are still looking at it, but have also made a backend change that might resolve the issue, or at least make things better.
Can you try again and let us know how you get on?

Well it's working now I can now invite players through the invite button in the players tab and it not give me an error message and I can now just click on someone's profile and invite them through there. What I did is just load up terraria, go to multiplayer, host game, choose my character and world, then when I load in I would invite them through xbox then play. Thanks!
 
I’m able to send invites after not being able to but the slightly longer load up is still there for starting the server and when my friends accept my invite or try joining off my profile it still doesn’t work

Sorry it's still not working for you.
Can you try an join a game hosted by your friend to see if that works?
