Don't use black on a sprite, use really dark colours

Lihzahrd bricks and furniture have black/dark outline. Black is dark outline, a lot of people use more colourfull outlines to make them look better.

If you're going to use black, make sure you have a shade that blends into it well. I made this sprite in the middle of Algebra

I'd like to know as to how you achieve that reflecction effect, I am guessing it involves setting the background to a color then having the gif flipped reflection on a partially transparent layer.

Anyways, here's the new version I made.
To me, it looks more like an actual macuahuitl (instead of just being a... generic, yet blocky spiked club), and in addition to that, it has a far superior reach than the last version.

The top of the bag is pointed upwards because the bullets fill it, it should be downward because it's empty
