Almost every person fights Queen Slime with basically the same gear they would use against the Mechs, the two are comparable in difficulty with Queen Slime being slightly easier at best. I genuinely dont understand how you can suggest this like she were basically a glorified PreHardmode boss...
This is basically 25% increased DPS that is easy to use and has no drawback
But It basically only affects Inferno Fork and Heat Ray, the former needs more a non-dps buff and the latter is perfectly fine in its current state
One of the reasons devs dont like right Click altfires for weapons is that it causes issues with a lot of things that also use the Right Click, being unable to use mounts with altfires makes the problem worse
I like the idea of doing mini-classes like this, it needs a better obtainment method and i think you can make it less similar to a Sorcerer emblem in stats, and focus more on the special effect
This really doesnt need a drawback either, the drawback is being locked to very specific weapons
The projectile is the "range extender type", you will never use Blade of Grass like an Influx Waver because that projectile by itself is extremely weak.
It works best at true melee range, and imo the projectile range is short enough to still basically be true melee.
Mechanical Glove has been one of the best accessories for melee since 1.2, where it was just 12% melee damage and speed. Then it got a ton of small buffs, thanks to basically every component it has except Avenger Emblem getting a buff. Fire Gauntlet right now is the second best accessory for...
"all melee is true melee, duh" is the kind of pedanticism that pisses me off. "True Melee" is not a literal term that defines the "real melee" class and that most Melee weapons belong to a "fake melee" class. True Melee is simply a category of weapons.
These weapons are attached to the player...
Daybreak has 900 DPS with just the spears, when the Spear blows up it hits again, dealing double damage. This gives it 1800 base DPS. Influx Waver is one of the strongest melee single target weapons before Daybreak; it has 900 Base DPS with its beams, assuming all of them hit 3 times and dont...
you can get away with Inferno Fork and Flameburst T3 sentry inflicting Daybroken, its a big DOT buff that both weapons will highly appreciate. 100 DoT really isnt that strong
You more or less have 100% increased damage, this is up to 1600 DoT on Daybreak, which it doesnt need at all, and 200...
I'll just keep it simple:
If you dont think sentries are good, this buff doesnt solve any of your problems.
If you know how to use sentries, you know this buff is powercreep that doesnt fix anything.
It's a sword. It swings. Its attack style fits melee, a weapon far more undertuned would be accepted just fine as a melee weapon if it was earlier in the game.
This problem isn't just for the other classes, it's for Melee itself too. All the melee moon lord drops are also useless compared to...
The second strongest Fragment weapon, and a Trophy weapon for skilled players designed to compete with the second strongest fragment weapon, is what you choose as a basis to call every single sentry bad?
Your testing is unreliable, you can't just jump into the hardest possible environment...
Were you trying to be a Pure Summoner with Valhalla Knight? An armor made primarily for Melee weapons that is bad for whips and minions? Thats what it sounds like here.
Almost every sentry in the game has higher DPS than an equivalent minion at the tier. Against crowds/events summoning all your...
