    I'm curious, why did you start using your own orþography (replacing th wiþ ð, etc.) instead of one of English's existing standards?

    standard english orþografy iz stupid, i have an icelandic keyboard, plus i like ð, idealy i would also be able to uze æ but i tried once & people didnt understand

    (1/2) Vowels are already pretty messy in English so I don't usually boðer wiþ ðem. I used to use ŝ or ∫ for SH but I stopped ðat because boþ letters were hard to type. English is such a mess ðat I've mostly given up on trying to fix it and now I mostly just use Ð and Þ out of habit.

    (2/2) Even if people did try to switch to a system like Shavian to fix it, it can't be perfectly phonetic because so many accents and dialects exist. It seems like ðe best way to fix it is to just start spelling in ways ðat make sense, like you do.
