Terraria is the kind of game that, after teaching you basic controls, immediately throws you into the wilderness and forces you to learn for yourself.
The only real solution to make every new player learn how to play the game is to force them into the Tutorial world and lay out everything you need to teach them.
Doloc Town: "Your inventory feels too small? Have a box that practically increases the items you can hold by 4 slots! Don't open them too often, though, because it will break."
Doloc Town 3 in-game days later: "Here is a shelf that lets you access the boxes' content without reducing their durability."
I was excited for the game before it was released.
But then it hit me with $60 for the base game, separate story DLCs for $50, and launch exclusive bonuses.
I may consider buying it after a massive discount.
