Ai's sword bounces off dramatically, vibrating with a loud hum.
She seems stunned!
Hyu'kin ignores Pancake and focuses on the battle against the group.
"Ai, try and think lighter thoughts. That Dark thingy did nothing. Like literally it bounced off."
 
Ai gets hit, unable to dodge, but it snaps her out of the Resonance.
The glowy stuff would most likely fly onto Solus looking sticky and oozy and acidic...(Liquid Ooze! but it might infect Solus with the crystals)
"Guys! Get out of here! They'll infect you too!"
"I'm not just gonna leave you here!"
...I'm? Ferr thinks.
"Well I didn't expect that."

It does for a moment, before Solus' scarf glows to pass the damage to Etch (being the only one he can pass it along to, lore reasons).
Etch's reaction is to use her own Pass Scarf to then pass it to Nirel.
And Nirel's glove immediately comes to the rescue to protect her from the effects.
if her lack of magic doesn't, I guess.
(Oh boy having two pass scarf users in the group was my best choice ever)

The Resonance kicks back in, and Ai tries to run Sarah through with the sword!
Sarah doesn't move, not believing that Ai could actually do that.

Etch calmly nods in response to Hyu'kin.
Avin throws a Swift star at Ai to intercept her.
 
Ai blocks the stars with her Shield, which now glows, but is still sufficiently distracted from killing Sarah.

"What. Do. You. Know."
"A lil here, a lil there."

Etch has an idea now.

Specifically, she throws one of the remaining two flames at Solus.
Solus seems to get the idea immediately, and uses his Pass Scarf to send the resulting damage to Ai.
(So the fun thing about the Pass Scarf is it passes damage to allies. Obviously, for Solus that isn't truly the group, but is technically Ai and Hyu'kin due to him being an enemy in secret.
Etch is more neutral than anything/everyone's ally, so she can pass damage to anyone in the group.

Avin isn't really aware of how exactly Pass Scarf works luckily, and those that do know (besides Etch and Solus) aren't in the RP except one who isn't here right now)

(I do own all the games except WiiWares and the remake, and I read the scarf list frequently so it's kind of embedded in my memory in places)
(Oren Berry is my favorite lookalike, it's just a discount geo pebble)

Well that piled up against me didn't it)
(That's not stopping me from doing things.)
Solus tries to block the shield by shielding himself with an Aura Sphere.
(Got that idea from Vesper.)

She uses the momentum to go after Etch with the same attack who I'm assuming is behind her!

(I have alrightish defense so I'll pass some of it, not all)
Etch steps to the side a bit to reduce the damage, also using her scarf to pass some of the damage to Alex.
She then replies with both Night Shade and Fairy Wind at the same time.

Ai is easily sent flying.
"!" Ai conks her head on the wall and passes out, the crystals she's used to make weapons and armor turning to crystalline dust.
