Single Thread RP Collision (A Whatever-you-want RP)

(Part of me really wants at least some crystals to stick after the incident around purely because Esther could use them to be in less danger /hj)
Avin seems kinda fed up with battling at this point.
Solus in the meantime just looks done.

Hyu'kin pulls a book out of the wall.
They close their eyes, and a crystal grows under them, raising them above the group.
They open their eyes again, and rainbows seem to have replaced them. Shards break off of the crystal they're standing on, and begin to orbit Hyu'kin.
And perhaps most threatening of all, strange rainbowy glowing shards span out from their back like wings.
An aura? I haven't seen that since the Folk who Live Under the Hill!

Honestly? Solus really doesn't look impressed or worried or anything.

"Just a heads-up, you might want to keep your distance from me for this battle."
In response to that, Avin steps away from Solus with a clear ._ . expression.
 
(I may or may not have an addiction to referencing things that literally no one else knows about)
"Okay, so here's the problem..."
"Or I guess, your problem."
"How you beat me won't be immediately obvious."
"I already know that's how you beat Jikan. Otherwise you'd still be fighting. Or better... Dead!" Hyu'kin starts laughing, and opens the book.
The orbiting crystals fly at Solus, Avin, Etch, and Pancake.
Pancake tries to dodge (d10:6) and succeeds, barely.
 
(Lemme just open up Bulbapedia, I think Rock Throw would be the most accurate here)
(There's a reason why Solus warned Avin, and I'm sure it will become clear soon enough)
(Not using RNG is going to become a challenge isn't it)
Avin waits for the crystals to hit him, tanks the hit, and then dashes at Hyu'kin to strike back with Counter. (I almost never need that move but it's fun to use it when I need to)
Solus gets hit by some crystals, before punching one to send it back.
Etch tries to intercept the crystals with a Shadow Ball.

Hyu'kin assumes Etch is talking to them.
"I don't need a plan. I'm in my Castleè."
The crystals begin to home in on the people connecting with lines, moving faster and faster.

Etch prepares another Shadow Ball to use as a shield.

Solus does the same thing as Etch, but with Aura Sphere instead.

Except now the shards are coming after them.
"Crystalline Follow Up ~ Equal and Opposite Reactions"
Sarah tries to laser the crystal, but it just refracts the laser into her Eye.
"Ow!"
Ferr kicks at the crystal, bumping it backwards and further up the line.
Ferr tries to grow a vine...(d2:1) There's still nothing to expand on...

Solus tries to block the shards with Poison Jab, but only gets some of them.
Etch chooses to take the hit instead of trying to block. (Hey, I have a good health stat, I'll be fine.)

And Etch just waits.

The crystal shatters, and the shards fly towards Solus and anyone nearby.

Pancake tries to burn the shards now chasing Sarah.
Sarah is running in circles to avoid the shards.
Why do I have to have laser abilities and not physical prowess? I feel useless.
'Prowess'? Who says that?
Shut up.
