Well I've been in a forum where there is a dislike button, I've never seen a problem happening related to disliking there. But I understand that it would cause problems here since this community is way different.

I just wanted to see people's opinions of a dislike button, I know what drama it will cause if it gets implemented.

I mean, a dislike button basically means "I don't like what you have to say but I can't think of a reason why, maybe I just don't like you"

I would try to argue against that Baconfry but I've been to all your threads on TCF. There have been a few irrational dislikes of your stuff.

If a post is truly bad, click report as your dislike button.

Thats not really a solution. A "bad post" can be anything. Just because you dislike it doesn't mean its reportable, thus spamming the report queue and making the staff angry.

That's why I said truly bad, not just a post you disagreed with.

Well then thats pretty self explanitory and not exactly the same idea of having a dislike button.

It's close enough without having the unnecessary drama that comes with an actual dislike button.

The difference between a post that breaks the rules and a post you dislike is fairly large. And it still really depends on personal views. Something that's an even bigger difference is the report button and what would be a dislike button. If the report button was to be used, the staff would be spammed with "I dislike this" reports.
