I can honestly say that Lich's stupidity cost Dire the game, that and them letting me farm for like 20 minutes in order to finish Satanic and Malevolence.

CM can actually be a decent carry, not even joking. It's hard to pull off but it can happen.

Every hero can be a decent carry, while CM would still be the worst because of her funny stat gain.

CM can carry a team HARD in the early game, but I agree that she would fall off really fast.
Kind of like when she's played as a support.
Again though...Still not as bad as a Lich in a 1 hour and 20 minute game with no Aghs.

Every nuker/disabler has this ability.
CM - 1 disable, 1 Slow + decent damage, no mana problems, 1 AoE slow + damage
Now lets take Lion
1 Nuke + stun, 1 disable, no problems with mana + harassment, 1 guaranteed first blood.
Or Lina
1 AoE Nuke, 1 Stun, gottagofast attack/movement, 1 guaranteed first blood
