b-but why though
the french names for Pokemon are so stupid, which i guess would be a matter of opinion if "Tutankafer" wasn't a thing ;-;

I can agree that there are, indeed, names that sound really stupid, but there's a bunch of them that I actually like. "Muplodocus" sounds kinda cute.

Mostly, I just dislike the french names because EVERY SINGLE ONE is a stupid pun. And I'm the type of guy who loves stupid puns. ;-; Some of them are less stupid than others, though.

Nintendo games translated in French tend to have high amounts of puns. Trust me.

Hi there french guy

I think the highest amount of puns I've seen in a Nintendo game translated in French (that I've played) was in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Seriously.

hello

and i mean
unless it has more than 650 puns, it's not the most puns in any nintendo game
because almost every pokemon's name
is a pun

As an American learning French, I have... very little relevance here.

I think Pokémon names are pun-based regardless of language.
Anyways, it's the one with the most puns, excluding Pokémon games.
