Every curse also has its advantages. You say you can't fight because of the darkness, but as Zesko said, your eyes will adjust. And is not the darkness the best vantage point for fighting? The only reason you feel oppressed by it is because you're used to the light. Really, darkness isn't worse. It's just different.

I know it does now, but it gets better. Trust me, I've been here for several years. It will change how you think, but I'll let you decide whether that's for the better or not. I personally like how its changed me. And if you really need to break free, it is possible. It's just that you should only seek to if you really need to. This is a chance to explore a part of yourself you were afraid to before.
