I think it's an effort to get people not to kill each other in school so they can actually teach and make their jobs easier. Later you can do what you want.

Yea, true. Although, if you teach a kid not to fight from when they're in kindergarten to 12th grade and they never learn differently, I can assure you that they will be the most mugged person in the world.

Its there simply to try and make sure no one gets hurt while in school, despite the purpose of teaching, which is to teach for the future, they don't really think about it when it comes to that.

I just don't get why they don't teach independence and such. That's what America's all about!
