I have yet to encounter a golden bunny (or any other golden critter), all I keep finding is birds and squirrels! (I wish I had your luck)

If it makes you feel better, there are times when I come across gold critters that I miss generally, get killed by meanies, or lack of a Bug Net.

Wow, that is quite terrible. I can imagine the anger of losing something so rare. (Also one of the reasons why you should always carry a bug net even if you aren't the fishing type).
