Yea, pretty much. Unless they can get the word out to the youtube and WTFU community and get some support. Though hopefully once some precedents are set that will change.
The channel reviewed several movies, using small clips of those movies under the terms of Fair Use. The company that made the movies falsely sent DMCA notices to have the review videos removed. The channel was proved to be right and the DMCAs were declined. The channel talked to the company and made an agreement to not use the clips anymore in order to not be bothered by the company.
The company then ignored the agreement and sent more DMCAs against the channel's reviews of their other movies and videos that weren't about the company's movies. This is known as harassment and illegal use of DMCA notices, both of which are illegal. The channel is therefore suing the company. That is a good thing.
