I remember trying to parkour over them when I downloaded 1.0.6

Yeah, I freaked out when trying 1.0.6 when I was walking through the desert and I was getting hurt. And since im not used to it I am always reminded that cactus used to hurt you everytime I crossed the desert.

Should have been re-added for Expert Mode

Oh god, no.
The Hardmode desert is bad enough with it's mobs.

its like expert is supposed to be for experts or something
