Remember that Terraria's source code is already over 5 years old.
I find it quite understandable when I look back at my code of 1 year old.

It's very likely that the've improved a lot, and thus I can really expect them to have a cleaner code to work on. I assume they made a fresh start.

Also, I imagine you're decompiling it as the actual source isn't public.
The Re-logic version of the source (pre-compile) is no doubt much more organised

It's actually legit, you can check it yourself. Just try to search for it if you have the source decompiled.
