Something that I fear as well as artist.

Jpg format. Screenshotted instead of download. Watermark reposts or cropped images. And then somehow the worse version will become more populair than the original.

Some of that already happened. By the Bad Apple 'remix' as example.

I will vehemently defend JPEG with my last breath.

For every instance JPEG is used incorrectly, PNG is used incorrectly a thousand times more.

Now I wonder how one would prefer JPG to save/download something
and how basically almost every PNG is described as incorrect use.
