Yeah, you are correct. The number that appears beside your username in the search bar while viewing your profile represents which user you are.

So if I'm not in the first 100, does that just make me old instead of ancient?

With there being as many users as there are now, (holy ) yeah, I'd say you're old.

If you were faster than you were, you could've been an ancient too
