Do you already have a working character for the levels? I've learned that it's better to work out the player first so you know what to expect.
You mean, the protagonist? Dude, that was literally the first thing I designed when I had the idea for this game I had you draw him, remember?
I mean not just the character, but his entire moveset and such. Creating mechanics to break blocks before knowing what kind of attacks it does sounds a bit out of order.
