One issue I always had is when you want to try something different in a game where it's mostly random.

Well, first, early-game can be rough for someone who completed the game. You move slower, you dig slower, it takes forever to kill anything, you feel so weak, etc. Once you get your speed boots and a decent weapon or two, along with 2nd boss pickaxe it improves a bit though (cont)
