I enjoyed it, too

I thought it was alright, although I don't see it as being "canon"

I very much see it as canon. Resurrection in particular cleared up a lot of mysteries surrounding the First Order, I think; it just sucks that you have to pick up a side video game made by EA to get the information.

Some things didn't make sense though, mostly due to things the sequels have shown us. It's a bit odd (from a story line standpoint) that Iden hasn't been mentioned at all in the movies, and Luke referring to Jakku as "nowhere" when supposedly a battle that basically put the final nail in the coffin for the Empire took place there is kinda weird.
