Well, Snivy is grass-type lizard (not from this real world tho) - aka Pokemon.
Some call him smugleaf too. But there's some more stuff which is smug too.

They're like imagined animal species with some 'mutations', which allows them to do more than normal animals do.

Well, like they're made of grass, can evolve fast, have wings while not being birds, and even some scythes.
