Example: Secret of Mana, which is 22,500 files roughly and 9.20GB took nearly 45 minutes to copy from one HDD to another. Starcraft II which is 23GB in 594 files has an estimated time of 3.5 minutes to copy.

Agreed, I run into the same problem when I put a 32 sd on my netbook for storage and moved 3 terraria versions. It took about 1 and a half hour wether transfering lotr which is 4 gb took me only half an hour

Altought I thunk they should make archive files in terraria. I would be a performance killer.
