why are monster girls so popular, i really don't get it

I dunno, it's not usually my thing... but this webcomic just... does an awesome job. It's the thing I never knew I was into until I saw this.

I suppose I can give a hint if you're curious: Top Webcomics #46. Again it is NSFW but isn't outright pr0n. It just has some suggestive themes and some mild nudity (no genitalia).

These are considered the "top" webcomics? Why at least half of them sex-related? That's such a shame.

Because people like sex? And they're not all "just about sex". Twokinds is on there and there's not a single sexual scene in it.

I'm probably overexaggerating, and I based in on the top 50. There is a disappointing amount of erotic comics, despite not having any "actual" pornographic content in it.
(That's just a lame excuse in my opinion. There might not actually be exposed genitalia, but we all know the context.)

Well, it depends on why such scenes are in the comic. I mean, if the comic is just there just for fanservice with no actual storytelling behind it, then yeah. Big "MEH". But... if the comic is telling a good story and there's a few sexually suggestive scenes and they fit the story, I don't mind. (cont)

... because sex IS a part of life, as much as some people like to pretend that it is not. It happens. And if it makes sense in a comic's story that sex would happen, well... it should just happen, then.

I don't believe TMUTB is really a "sex comic"... there is definitely that within, but yet it is telling a story, and yeah the story is about a boy and girl that fall in love, but... hey. It happens.
