This is especially frustrating in games that won't let YOU run away, but yet the enemies run away 60%+ of the time.

Only a few games do this, but the ones that do can be annoying at times. What exactly is a "C"RPG anyways? I keep seeing that term... do you mean games like Final Fantasy Tactics, or are you talking about games like Baldur's Gate/Dragon Age: Origins?
