Flails do need more love.

Yeah, they need a lot of love. Short range, slow speed, bad dps and a deceivingly small hitbox is a terrible combo for anything.

If only you could throw the spiked ball.......... :dryadnaughty:

What would that do besides turn them into worse boomerangs?

They could remain on the ground and be used as spike traps, but that was mostly a joke although I did create a modded flail that does that.
