It has a 17% percent chance to completely nullify damage taken (which is already mathematically equal to the Worm Scarf), raises your critical strike chance by 30% after nullifying damage, and has a 50% chance to confuse nearby enemies upon taking damage (which isn't important but it still exists on an item that was already good if you consider it's other effects).
