That's a good question! I can't be sure in 1.4.0.5 as I haven't tested them myself, but I can give some tips if much hasn't changed since 1.3.5.

If the two Summons are indeed the same & have remained unchanged, I'd say you'd get the most mileage out of a mixture of both Minions.

Preferably Summoning three Star Cell Minions, & dump whatever you have left into Stardust Dragon, especially if your having a hard time deciding which is better.

What you'll likely notice, is the each Minion will perform much better, or worse at different ranges & during different scenarios, keep observing.

Once it's clear which you prefer over the other, it'll be much easier to dump everything you have into one Minion or the other, but I always feel that a mixture of both is the better choice.
