Pepper II Syndrome is the situation where I have an interest in developing a game that may start a series. Midway through the period of interest, thoughts about what a sequel entails ensue. As more of them come, they eventually make me prioritize making the sequel.
As the name suggests, it's based on the eponymous 1982 arcade game developed by Exidy which had no previous predecessors.
Ah, so I've misinterpreted your original post a bit. That said though, when you explain it like that, I can't help but realize that ever since 2014 I've been thinking up my own imaginary game series, it started out as rambling thoughts to pass the time, but as the years gone by its certainly grown rather large. (There's a bit of a character limit here so i have to put the rest in another post, sorry about that.)
