I'm under the impression that playing a third person game in VR would feel incredibly janky since it's basically catered towards the first person experience. If there was a port that revamped the perspective to be first person, that'd be amazing, but otherwise I don't really see the point.

Combat would be so much fun tho

There's technically VR for it.
