Why yes, yes it is.

I have used it to defeat the Wall of Flesh before.

It is less "busted" than the Star Cannon, shots permitting, however.

I don't think I've used the star cannon since 1.1 on the ps3. I feel like star cannon is more to be used against crowds then single targets, although it's single target DPs isn't exactly bad either

That is...exactly my point.

Its single target damage is decent pre-hardmode, and its shots go right through the "hungry" as if they are not present.

I usually ignore the hungry completely with the starfury, but I never thought about using star cannon for the same effect. Isn't it strange that 2 of the best ways to beat the wall of flesh both involve stars?

Considering that it likely was not intentional, it is an interesting idea to consider.

Especially when considering the creation of lore.

I understand that Terraria already has lore, but the concept still stands.
