Yeah, you just did. I like thorn because I don't like having to use two letters to make one sound, like th, ch, and sh. As far as I know þere isn't a letter in any language for ch. I don't have an excuse for not using a single character for sh.
It's occurred to me þat þe letter C is a bit redundant because of K and S but repurposing it by changing þe sound it makes to ch sounds like a better idea to me þan just removing it from þe alphabet. I might start using š or ʂ in words þat normally use sh.
Character limit.
Hi everyone, from now on for this website’s purpose, the old timey letter þ will be referred to as ‘thorn’ and not ‘þorn’ (even though both are correct). Why? Because, of course, everyone knows that it’s just being used to be somewhat scandalous and shocking. Referring to the letter as þorn isn’t suitable for this site. Thanks.
