Some of us (myself included) are Canadian, and celebrated mid-October.

Reason is that generally Thanksgiving is known as a harvest festival, and across most of Canada, you can't harvest in November as by that time everything is generally covered in snow.
Instead, I personally believe it's crass to begin Christmas before November 11th has passed.

i think its friggin dumb and cringey to start christmas or just december holidays in general before november is OVER
stay in your god damn assigned month!
