It would just be a loop of the two killing each other and coming back for more.

True, the Terrarian respawns (unless it's Hardcore) and the Beheaded can't be killed (at most, you can destroy the body it possesses), the only way the fight would end is if the Terrarian was a Hardcore character, then the Beheaded wins.

But, assuming we were going by rules of whoever defeats the other first, who would win?
I think the Beheaded with abilities but the Terrarian has a bunch of great weapons that are definitely more powerful.
I doubt the Beheaded could compete with a Zenith.

Well, if we think on just taking the hits, without blocking or whatever, beheaded doesn't get armor, terrarian does. If we allow blocking, then I'd give it to beheaded though, particularly if using the rampart.
