goodness its dragon maths!

The wings are specifically forearms on a wyvern, are they not?
Normally, kind of? It somewhat depends on how much they are actually like legs, but they do take that place at least.

So, I'd reason dragons are more than just six-limbed wyverns.

Well, when I said that, I wasn't referring to wings, and I think I did actually say six legs and not six limbs.

This is incredibly confusing

this is algebra but lizardified

This also could then bring in the issue of the lung dragon, which lacks wings, therefore assuming that dragon, then dragon - wyvern would equal (-wyvern) or negative wyvern.
And how would this interact with multiplication? Would you mulitply limbs by type? And would you separate each limb, or multiply by sets of limbs?
Ketsui/Kezzai

if a chinese dragon has two limbs, and you multiplied this by the lindwyrm, or 0
wouldnt that be
chinese dragon x lindwyrm = lindwyrm

also, wouldnt
wyvern+chinese dragon= western dragon?
Streyll
Streyll
Chinese dragon, or lung dragon, has four limbs, i.e. four legs. Lindwyrms have two. It's a Wyrm that's zero.

As for the second point, yes, but one could argue that it makes a six legged dragon, therefore meaning each dragon has to have limbs specified.

isnt a six legged dragon just an enlarged insect with scales instead of chitin?
Streyll

Dragons can have six legs or more and still be called dragons. Insects require different biology.
Though, you could probably make an insect dragon if you combined the two.

I also just thought that taurs and hydras could be brought into this and further complicate things.

oh i am so making an insect dragon
I approve of this. In fact after I said it I started thinking about possibly doing so as well, but I have other concepts I'd work on first, and I'm not sure what type of insect it would be based on anyway.
Ketsui/Kezzai

would the neck count as a limb?
also can't hydras duplicate their necks?

and taurs technically have six limbs, but it would require discretion, since two of them are arms while the others are legs
so then
its like

if x=arms and y=legs
chinese dragon, or 2x + lindwyrm, or 2x
=
4x, or normal dragon

but taur, being (4x+2y) + lindwyrm, 2x
=
6x + 2y, basically becoming a lizard version of a tardigrade

I don't think neck and heads are limbs. And yeah, hydras can normally regrow heads.

And the issue I see with your first example is that it's missing wings, though that would work if you replaced chinese dragon with wyvern.

Lizalgebra, Revised Edition:
if x=arms, y=legs, and z=wings
chinese dragon, or (2x+2z) + lindwyrm, or 2x
=
4x + 2z, or normal dragon

but taur, being (4x+2y+2z) + lindwyrm, 2x
=
6x + 2y + 2z, basically becoming a lizard version of a tardigrade

Yeah, that makes sense.
But since when did chinese dragons have wings?
