Does this really matter? It's been gone over, and it's always been stated in my profile anyhow. A lot of people seem surprised or possibly upset at finding out I am male. I've always had it openly stated in my profile (at the top of this very page), so I'm unsure what is expected of me to avoid this issue(?).

While I do understand my internet name and choice of avatar artwork may create confusion, note that neither should ever be used as basis for assumption about someone's real life persona. I'm not going to make my choices of image portraits or names based on whether or not it reflects my personal identity, nor should I have to.
