If you're talking about Hellsing, since it's about vampires, Alucard = Dracula. I doubt it was all-card.

Arucard is Dracula, but the name Arucard derived from his master's father, his previous master. It was explained in Hellsing that because he was his 'final card,' his best piece, and playing him was like playing 'all his cards.' It was only afterwards when I thought of it, I realised Japs tend to add u and o after consonants at the end of the words... Hence Arucard -> Alu-Card -> All-Card
